Grifter sketch comedy

Grifter is a MainStage sketch comedy company at M.I.'s Westside Comedy Theater in Santa Monica, CA, performing an hour of new material monthly. Outside of their home theater, they’ve performed throughout Los Angeles and as a featured act in SF Sketchfest, the San Francisco Comedy Festival.

MAX CRANDALL

Max Crandall is an actor, writer, and editor. If you watched the Superbowl this past year, you might have seen him getting trampled by a crowd of Steven Tyler fans in a Kia commercial, or befriend a squid in a late night Adult Swim/Old Spice deodorant commercial. Meanwhile, Max was the assistant editor for "BoJack Horseman" for 2 seasons, and just finished his first season as lead editor and voice talent on an "Unannounced Animated Show," how mysterious. Along with performing Max has been a stage manager at The Improv and was the original Artistic Director at the Nerdist School Stage. You can watch Max at his home, streaming on Twitch at "The Show House.”

Andrew heder

Andrew Heder doesn't look ethnic enough to get searched at the airport, but he does look ethnic enough to have booked a fistful of commercials. You may have seen him perform the role of "Guy" in four seconds of a Honda commercial, or maybe you saw him in the the role of "Guy" in an ad for a psoriasis pharmaceutical. In addition to performing on screen and stage, Andrew writes and directs videos with his creative partner, Ryan—you can check out their work by googling "Mommy Comedy" or "Very Serious Content." They are currently making content for Just For Laughs digital channels and for SuperFannyPAC, a Democratic political action committee.

Jennifer murray

Jen is a sketch and stand-up comedian. Growing up in Pittsburgh, PA, she didn’t have enough money to buy her friends, so making people laugh would assure her some company over the years. She won the iO West 2015 Comedy Festival’s Stand Up Competition and has performed at Chicago’s Funny Women Festival, Chicago Sketchfest, SF Sketchfest, as well as stages all over Los Angeles. She performs regularly at the Westside Comedy Theater with Grifter and That’s What She Said.

GREG SANTOS

Greg Santos is a comedian based in Los Angeles who does stand up & sketch. His acting credits include Netflix’s “The Brian Regan Comedy Show,” NBC’s “Great News,” CBS’s “Angel from Hell,” YouTube Red’s “Good Game,” and ABC’s “The Muppets.” He also creates digital content that has garnered millions of views!

Atul singh

Atul Singh is a comedian, actor, host, and writer. Atul writes and acts for Grifter and has performed with them at SF Sketchfest. His television credits include “Rutherford Falls,” “Seal Team,” “Liza on Demand,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and “The Family Business.” He performs improv comedy with Pretty, Pretty Pony, one of the longest running shows at the Westside Comedy Theater (WCT). Atul also performs in Mission IMPROVable, the WCT’s flagship show. He is the producer of (and has written for) the Emmy-nominated “Epic Rap Battles of History” on YouTube with over 2 Billion views and an average of 30 Million views per episode. Atul is a member of SAG-AFTRA, the Producers Guild, and the Television Academy. Atul is theatrically represented by Aqua Talent, commercially represented by The Osbrink Agency, and managed by BAC Talent.

Patrick tamisiea

Patrick has been performing sketch, improv and standup comedy for over a decade, both in Chicago and in Los Angeles. He has trained and performed at Second City Chicago, iO, UCB and many others. He is also a professional copywriter in advertising where he creates digital and video content for various brands, films and television shows. He hails from Omaha, Nebraska where the funniest thing there is the high depression rate. Wait, that's not funny at all.

Amy Wilk is an actor, comedian, and writer based in Los Angeles. She has many years of performing improv and sketch comedy at The Groundlings Theater, UCB, Westside Comedy Theater, Characters Welcome, Comedy Central Stage, and SF Sketchfest. Cole Stratton (Director)

Cole Stratton is the co-founder of SF Sketchfest, the San Francisco Comedy Festival, which will soon celebrate its twentieth year. Along with Janet Varney, he has written and performed downloadable comedic commentary to films for RiffTrax.com, an online venture helmed by "Mystery Science Theater 3000’s" Michael J. Nelson. He co-hosted the Nerdist Network’s Pop My Culture Podcast and has appeared on Never Not Funny, Dumb People Town, Alison Rosen is Your New Best Friend, Comedy Film Nerds, Jordan Jesse Go!, Competitive Erotic Fan Fiction, Totally Laime, James Bonding and Hello From the Magic Tavern. TV and film credits include “Impeachment: American Crime Story,” “American Horror Story,” “9-1-1,” "Good Girls," “Nash Bridges,” “America’s Most Wanted,” “Dead Man On Campus,” “Yo Momma,” “Comedy Colosseum,” “Callback,” “The Selling” and “Diani & Devine Meet the Apocalypse.” He tours the country with Theme Park Improv and performs regularly at the Westside Comedy Theater and around Los Angeles.

Westside Comedy Theater

Founded in 2009 by Mission Improvable, the Westside Comedy Theater is the home of improv, sketch, and stand-up comedy shows and classes.
